OUR BACKgroundWe trained as art historians and use this background to ensure that our work is historically correct.
The Chinese Bedchamber from our miniature of Sans Souci, Potsdam. 16”w x 18”d x 20"h. (41 x 43 x 43cm) OUR Aims However it's just as important to us that our pieces aren't lifeless models.
Cross section from our miniature of Spencer House, London 64"w x 22"d x 58"h. (163cm x 56cm x 147cm) We work hard to ensure that we achieve a balance between historic reconstruction and a personal artistic statement. In our interiors especially, we aim to recreate atmosphere; to give the feeling that someone has only just left the room.
Detail from our "Ghosts of Versailles" piece. More details available further into the website. We believe that the Mulvany and Rogers signature style is a unique combination of ATTENTION TO DETAIL, A REAL UNDERSTANDING OF SCALE AND PROPORTION, SUBTLETY OF COLOUR AND PATINATION Who commissions our work? We work almost entirely to commission and our clients come from a wide variety of backgrounds: man-in-the-street, academic, public, media, fashion, industry, Hollywood and the City.
Over the years we have been given commissions to re-create in miniature some of the most beautiful private houses around Europe and North America, both large and small. We have also miniaturised Hampton Court, Versailles, Buckingham Palace, Fontainebleau, The Albert Hall, Sans Souci, Brighton Pavilion, Malmaison, Palazzo Vendramin-Calergi, Casa Batlo, Bagatele, Het Loo, Cliveden, Hill House, The Garrick Club, Villa Barbero, Hamilton House, Frampton Court, Spencer House, Hamilton House, Hogwarts, Governor Langdon's house, Sturehof and Le Petit Trianon.
